G&T – Grammar & Text

The Grammar & Text group is characterized by:

(i) developing linguistic research based on the interplay of different perspectives (synchronic and diachronic) and different theoretical frameworks;

(ii) describing grammatical, textual and discursive phenomena of European Portuguese and evaluating the explanatory adequacy of proposals from different theoretical orientations;

(iii) promoting the integration of young researchers (by offering seminars, supervision of master and PhD dissertations and granting scholarships for introduction to research);

(iv) promoting cooperation with other national and international research teams.
