Description

The training project in lexicography, under the theme “Teaching with the Dictionary: Linguistic and Lexicographic Information for Teaching Portuguese”, arises from a partnership between the IILP and CLUNL – Lexicology, Lexicography, and Terminology group. It aims to merge IILP’s experience in supporting Portuguese language teachers in the PALOP (African Countries of Portuguese Official Language) with the scientific knowledge of CLUNL in the areas of lexicography, linguistics, and teaching Portuguese, as well as the development of lexicographic and pedagogical resources.
In this context, this project aimed to address the needs of Portuguese language teachers at the basic and secondary education levels currently working in the PALOP and to cooperatively build educational resources for teaching Portuguese, to be made available in open access.The tasks developed in this project included i) the design of the training materials and activities; ii) the delivery of the training; iii) the processing and dissemination of materials for teaching.
