Ramos, Margarida

Holds a PhD in Linguistics – Lexicology, Lexicography and Terminology – from the NOVA University of Lisbon and in Sciences et Techniques de L’information et de la Communication, Traitement de l’Information by the Université Savoie Mont Blanc (cotutelle programme). Has a Master in Linguistics – Terminology and Management of Information for Special Purposes – from the NOVA University of Lisbon and graduated in Languages and Communication at the Faculty of the University of the Algarve. She formerly collaborated at the Linguistics Center of the NOVA University (CLUNL) as a PhD grant holder, within the programme of Knowledge, Representation and Use (KRUse), granted by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) of the Portuguese Ministry of Education, and currently integrates the Lexicology, Lexicography and Terminology group at the CLUNL. Her main research interests focus on terminological analysis of specialised corpora resorting to semi-automatic tools for text analysis in order to (in)formally model special field knowledge, namely in the scope of e-Lexicography and ontologies.
