Ge, Yuxin (Cindy) (PhD student, Research grant holder)

Yuxin Ge is a PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Linguistics and English Language, Lancaster University. She also co-organises the Heritage Language 2 Consortium and Second Language Learning and Teaching seminar series. Her main research interests are second language acquisition, phonology learning, and psycholinguistics. Her PhD project explores adults’ learning of non-native phonological features under a cross-situational statistical learning paradigm. She is also interested in the interface between orthography and phonology, and their joint influence on language learning. Yuxin Ge is a PhD student on the ProPerL2 project being developed at CLUNL [FCT grant agreement 2022.04013.PTDC].
