Talk: “Neoterm or neologism? A closer look at the determinologisation process”

Several members of CLUNL will attended the 3rd Globalex Workshop on Lexicography and Neology (GWLN 2021).

Rute Costa, Raquel Silva, Margarida Ramos, Ana Salgado, Sara Carvalho and Bruno Almeida will present the paper “Neoterm or neologism? A closer look at the determinologisation process”, the process by which a term is transformed into a general language word or expression.

GWLN 2021, on “Focus on Corona-related Neologisms”, will take place on 31st of August, as a virtual pre-conference of AUSTRALEX Conference 2021.
