CLUNL collaborates in another ERASMUS+ project

Matilde Gonçalves, researcher at the Grammar & Text research group of CLUNL, is part of the Portuguese team of the project “Active Citizenship Through Dialogue in Virtual teacher communities” (ACT-Di-V), funded by Erasmus+ program.

Active and responsible citizenship is especially important in a changing world like ours, in which students need to have critical thinking and decision-making skills, and be able to participate in democratic discussions. On the assumption that in order to involve students in active and responsible citizenship, teachers must first be prepared, the ACT-DI-V project aims to involve teachers in new learning situations. Through the creation of a virtual community of teaching practice, teachers will have the opportunity to engage with other teachers, develop a ‘sense of community’, co-create knowledge, critically reflect on their own learning, and share best practices for cultivating active citizenship through dialogical and argumentative pedagogies.

The project involves the following partners: EDEX – Educational Excellence Corporation Limited (Lead), Association Centro Per Lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci, Humboldt University Berlin and NOVA University Lisbon, in this one, more specifically, the following Research Units: IFILNOVA, CLUNL and CETAPS.
