Linha D’Água (USP, Brazil) is pleased to announce a call for papers for the thematic issue “Chiffons de Papier and the Resurgence of the Epistolary: Metamorphoses, Dynamics, and Confluences”.

This issue is organized by Professor Isabel Roboredo Seara, researcher at CLUNL and lecturer at the Universidade Aberta (Portugal), and Professor Renata Ferreira Costa, from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS, Brazil).

Papers are welcome on the development of the digital humanities, which present significant challenges for the study and analysis of epistolary discourse, insofar as the potential of digital technology provides access to and exploration of multiple dimensions that were once difficult to circumscribe and systematize, covering the philological, linguistic, historical and sociocultural levels.

The submission period for manuscripts will be open until April 30th, 2024. The publication is scheduled for December 2024.
