The most recent issue of the journal DELTA: Documentação e Estudos em Linguística Teórica e Aplicada (DELTA: Documentation and Studies in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics) includes an article by Antónia Coutinho and an article by Matilde Gonçalves, both researchers and integrated members of the Grammar & Text research group of CLUNL.

The article by Antónia Coutinho, titled “O conhecimento da “língua em ação”: interpelações teóricas e didáticas” (Knowledge of ‘language in action’: theoretical and didactic interpellations), starting from the Saussurian notion of ‘language in action’, proposes a review of the trinomial text, discourse(s) and language (or grammar), from the perspective of Sociodiscursive Interactionism, to project these same notions into the context of didactic work

The article of Matilde Gonçalves, “Relações entre texto e gramática: compreensão do sentido textual e percurso didático” (Relations between text and grammar: understanding textual meaning and the didactic pathway), starts with a reflexion on the possible relationships between grammar and text and how these can affect the construction of meaning(s) in literary texts, and then propose a grid for analysing the mesotextual level, which can be integrated into a didactic pathway that facilitates the development of reading/comprehension skills.

This issue also features articles by two CLUNL collaborators: Eulália Leurquin and Florencia Miranda.
