Susana Duarte Martins will present “LSP and guidelines for language teaching: the case of European Portuguese” in the Fifth International Conference LANGUAGE–PROFESSION–SCIENCE–2.1

Based on the analysis of the guiding documents for the teaching of foreign languages, the paper of this CLUNL’s researcher aims to reflect on what the absence of a language for specific purposes guiding document tells us about its status in the context of language policies and teaching – besides its consequences for the teaching and learning of languages for specific purposes, namely in the provision of Portuguese for specific purposes courses, their certification, the variety of teaching materials and the training of teachers of Portuguese as a foreign language.

Organized by the Foreign Language and Literature Association of Serbia, the 5th International Conference LANGUAGE–PROFESSION–SCIENCE–2.1 will be held on April 24 and 25, 2021, at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Belgrade, Serbia.
