Joana Miguel and Stéphanie Vaz, researchers from the LiFE – Formal and Experimental Linguistics group at CLUNL, actively participated in the IV Encontro em Linguística Aplicada (4th Meeting in Applied Linguistics) held at the School of Health of the University of Aveiro on May 17, 2024.

Joana Miguel presented the paper “Teste de Conhecimento Morfológico – Pré-escolar” (“Morphological Knowledge Test – Pre-school”), developed as part of her PhD, under the supervision of Professor Maria Lobo and co-supervision of Professor Irene Cadime. The presentation was very well received by the audience, generating positive discussions and feedback.

Stéphanie Vaz presented the paper “(RE)CONTO: Instrumento de Avaliação de Narrativas Orais para crianças falantes de Português Europeu” (“(RE)CONTO: An Instrument for the Assessment of Oral Narratives for Children Speaking European Portuguese”), also developed as part of her PhD, under the supervision of Professor Maria Lobo and co-supervision of Professor Marisa Lousada, and whose doctoral exams took place on May 10, 2024, at NOVA FCSH.
