A Linguistics PhD student, in the branch of Lexicology, Lexicography and Terminology, he is also a research fellow in the iRead4Skills research project – Intelligent Reading Improvement System for Fundamental and Transversal Skills Development [101094837], in which he carried out his master’s dissertation, developing an infrastructure of textual complexity gauging for low-literacy adults. Besides the interest in the topic of Text Complexity, he conducts his PhD research in the realm of Computational Linguistics, namely in modelling figurative language.
