PhD in Linguistics (specialization in Lexicology, Lexicography and Terminology) from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of NOVA University Lisbon and in Portuguese, Brazilian and Lusophone African Studies from Université de Paris 8 (joint supervision), under the guidance of Professor Christina Dèchamps and Professor Isabel Desmet. He holds a Master’s degree in Terminology and Management of Specialized Information from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of NOVA University Lisbon and a postgraduate diploma in School Administration and Management from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. He is a researcher at the NOVA University Lisbon Centre of Linguistics (CLUNL) in the field of Lexicology and Lexicography. A secondary school teacher, he collaborated as general supervisor, co-author and linguistic reviewer in the process of correction and updating of primary school textbooks in Angola, carried out by the Ministry of Education in the 1st Edition (2020–2021) and 2nd Edition (2022–2023). He also works as a linguistic reviewer for publishing houses and institutions and is a member of the organizing team of Portuguese Language Week.
