Rute Costa was one of the awardees with the Santander Internationalization Prize (Prémio Santander de Internacionalização da Produção Científica) in the category “Individual Award, Professors”.

With a dozen papers published in 2019, the year under analysis for this award, Rute Costa saw recognized part of her work as a researcher in the LLT – Lexicology, Lexicography and Terminology research group of NOVA CLUNL, a research unit that she chairs along with her teaching activity at NOVA FCSH.

Awarded annually, the Santander Internationalization Prize distinguishes five faculty members, five researchers and the research unit that contributed the most to the international notoriety of NOVA FCSH’s scientific production in the previous year, through publications indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.

Unlike previous years, this prize has not a pecuniary value, since due to the pandemic context NOVA FCSH decided to allocate the sponsoring to some students dealing with economic difficulties.
