Workshop: Controlled vocabularies and knowledge organisation for the digital humanities
On 12th of July, 9:45 AM, will take place the Workshop Controlled vocabularies and knowledge organisation for the digital humanities organized by ROSSIO Infrastructure, Department of Linguistics / NOVA CLUNL (CLUNL) and Art Library and Archives of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (FCG).
This online workshop aims to exchange experiences and applications of controlled vocabularies for research and projects in the field of digital humanities, including research infrastructures, libraries and other cultural institutions linked to social sciences, arts and humanities (SSAH).
Among other subjects, it will be discussed topics such as the construction and management of controlled vocabularies for the knowledge organization in SSAH, its application in research infrastructures, memory and cultural heritage institutions, as well as methodologies, models, tools and theoretical approaches related to controlled vocabularies and the publication of controlled vocabularies as linked data, where the case of the ROSSIO Infrastructure will be presented.
