Tavares, Gabriela (PhD student, FCT grant holder)

Gabriela Tavares has a Degree in Languages, Literatures and Cultures Portuguese Studies by Universidade Aberta, and a Master in Portuguese as a Foreign Language (L2/LE) by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. She has taught PFL in several institutions in Hungary, currently collaborating with the Centre for Research and Teaching of Foreign Languages of the Corvinus University in Budapest and also the Portuguese Language Centre of Instituto Camões in Budapest. She is a PhD student in Language Teaching – Multilinguism and Education for a Global Citizenship (NOVA FCSH/Universidade Aberta), and a grant holder from FCT (2020.05740.BD), conducting the research “Phonological perception of reduced vowels and lexical stress in Portuguese L2. Implications for language teaching with Hungarian learners”.
