Ana Castro, CLUNL researcher, participates in COST Action Y-JustLang meeting

Ana Castro, a researcher in the LiFE Group at the Research Center for Linguistics at NOVA University Lisbon (CLUNL), participated from 4 to 6 of May in the 8th in-person meeting of COST Action CA22139 – Justice to youth language needs: human rights undermined by an invisible disadvantage (Y-JustLang), held in Berlin and locally organized by the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS).

This COST Action brings together European researchers with the aim of understanding the role of language in the juvenile justice system, promoting fairer and more inclusive communication practices with young people in legal contexts.

Over the course of three days, the meeting included workshops, working sessions, and expert presentations, with particular emphasis on reflecting on the role of language in cognition and social participation.

Congratulations to the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) for the organization, and to all participants for another productive meeting.
