The iRead4Skills Consortium is pleased to invite you to its final conference, “A New Journey Through Knowledge”, which will take place on 25 February 2026 at the Rectory of NOVA University Lisbon, in Lisbon, Portugal. This event will bring together professionals and stakeholders from the fields of research, education, literacy, and policy-making.

Over the course of an afternoon, the main results of the project will be presented, and the future of literacy and adult skills development will be discussed in the context of a rapidly changing world.

Funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme, iRead4Skills aims to foster motivation and enhance adult reading skills through an intelligent system that assesses text complexity, supports the creation or adaptation of texts, and recommends reading materials suited to individuals’ literacy levels.

Our overall objective is to help reduce skills gaps and promote adult access to knowledge, culture, and lifelong learning.
